CAFE GUREUM believes in safety above all else. If you have allergies, it is imperative that you read the following information and disclaimers before purchasing or consuming any of our products. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

All products are prepared, baked, and packaged in my home kitchen and the local commissary kitchen, which is not allergy-friendly. Although we use best practices to avoid cross-contamination, there is no guarantee that the products we produce will be free from potential allergens. There is always a risk of cross-contamination, and I cannot guarantee that ingredients or tools used have not come into contact with them.

I maintain a WSDA (Washington State Department of Agriculture) Issued Food Processor License as well as the WA Food Workers Card to ensure the upmost care and preparations for all orders. If you have any additional questions aside from the approved permits issued by the WSDA and Snohomish Health Department, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Those with allergies and intolerances are advised to eat at their own risk or seek out a bakery that has allergy/intolerance friendly products.

Best Practices

All sweet treats may contain or come in contact with common allergens such as dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, corn, soybeans, tree nuts, nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, and bananas.

I kindly ask my customers to handle each order with care and caution to reduce the risk of cross contamination once orders outside of Cafe Gureum’s premises so that you can share and enjoy our delectable treats with your friends and family.

All orders will come with an instructions card or best consumed by date with every order. By completing your orders, once products have left Cafe Gureum premises, you agree to hold Cafe Gureum harmless for any consumption or storage method used outside of the instructions provided.

Consuming and Storage Instructions

Certain food colorings, oil-based colors, gel colors, powder colors, and dyes may contain glycerol, colors, lecithin, meringue powder, corn or corn derivatives, chemicals, sulfites, MSG, flavoring, or preservatives. When used in cakes, frostings, and/or airbrushed details may change the color of your hands, fingers, teeth, and mouth. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold Cafe Gureum harmless for allergic reactions.

By completing your payment and processing your order, you agree to hold us harmless and not liable for any allergens, or food-borne illnesses that may result from you or any additional consumers in relation to this order.
